Oversize Glass
We are able to offer oversize glass solutions for projects that require unusually large or complex glazing.
Both single glazed and double glazed glass can be manufactured upto 6m x 3m in size (subject to specification).
Single Glazed Oversize Glass
Monolithic oversize glass (single glazed) can be processed to the same exacting requirements as standard size glass, including toughening (tempering), laminating and complex shapes.
The increased weight of the glass panels can mean additional lifting equipment is required to aid our teams installation.
Double Glazed Oversize Units (or Triple Glazed)
Double glazed oversize units can be shaped and manufactured to high performance specifications to meet the best U-values or to fulfill the requirement to act as guarding to protect a fall.
Oversize glass units are often requested when our clients want un-interrupted views. Shaped glass units can also be useful in conservation projects where maintaining the original aesthetic of the building is important.
